Hi, I'm Beth!

My love for photography was sparked a decade ago after inheriting my grandfather's Minolta 35mm film camera.

After some years of shooting, developing, and scanning to digital I decided to make the jump and upgrade to more modern equipment. Since I was no longer confined by rolls of film, I began shooting everything under the sun with a huge focus on my family, my pets, and wildlife.

Bellingham Photographer

It soon became apparent to me that I navigate towards two major subjects in photography; the first being animals. I love animals, I've always loved animals. From working on a camel farm (yes, camel), to fostering dogs and raising orphaned kittens, to working as a Veterinary Assistant, I have dedicated so much of life to them with absolutely zero regret and so much fulfillment.

The second subject I gravitate towards is passionate people. I don't care what your 'thing' is; dancing, cars, biking, roller-blading, yoga, art, gardening, your family, you-name-it, I am impassioned by watching people in their element, enjoying the things they love most in life. At the end of the day, I want to spark joy; and what better way to do that than by providing beautiful renditions of every thing or activity that each person I work with gains happiness from?

I'm excited to work with you and capture what makes you feel alive and full of love.

FAQ's

Why Choose Beth Piper Photo Co.?

Without making this sound too much like a resume; my attention to detail, creativity and commitment to delivering high-quality images while prioritizing your needs ensures a relaxed and enjoyable experience with beautiful results.

What if My Dog Misbehaves?

That's totally fine! I have zero expectations from the animals I take pictures of. If they can't be off leash then we get creative with the type of leash used and edit it out. If your dog is anxious around people I use a longer lens and stay farther away. If your pet doesn't stay still then I act fast and get some good action shots. With some help from you and a whole lot of treats, we can make it happen.

What Kind of Animals Do You Photograph?

I have the most experience with horses and dogs, but I've also spent an extensive amount of time photographing various wildlife. I am not beyond taking pictures of any living creature, big or small.
